The Galapagos with Monty Halls

A unique opportunity for a fascinating trip to one of the world’s most remarkable archipelagos

Join the broadcaster and marine biologist Monty Halls on this exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime Telegraph Tour to the Galapagos Islands.

Holiday Highlights

THE GALAPAGOS
See these extraordinary far-flung islands, 600 miles from the coast of Ecuador. Despite their tiny size, the Galapagos had a profound impact on the scientific world as a source of inspiration for Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. The voyage is timed to go at a great time of year, when the waters around the islands are at their warmest .

MONTY HALLS
Monty Halls will join you for the duration of the sailing. As president of the Galapagos Conservation Trust, and a marine biologist, he will be on hand to give context to the unique wildlife of the islands -  as well as sharing anecdotes and stories from his many intrepid expeditions.

UNIQUE WILDLIFE
There will be many opportunities for a close-up view of the unique wildlife of the Galapagos. Among the islands’ many highlights, both on land and underwater are: marine and land iguanas, giant tortoises, sea turtles, pelicans, flamingos, tropicbirds, frigate birds, shearwaters, sea lions, Galapagos penguins, white-tipped reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, corals, pencil sea urchin, wrasses, angelfish and amberjacks.

TRAVEL IN STYLE
Eight days’ sailing on the M/V Evolution, a spacious and elegant motor yacht, with a 1:10 ratio of guides to passengers, the best in the Galapagos Islands.
